01—Challenge
The Client, with whom Qualitest has worked for nearly a decade, is a prestigious university and publisher that offers various elearning modules for higher education and corporate learning. As a brand virtually synonymous with educational excellence, they have very high volume usage and must be extremely careful about their image. Everything must work to the highest standards for their learners.
02—Solution
Qualitest provided comprehensive solutions for a wide array of the Client’s e-learning pain points. We implemented automation testing to monitor the production environment and identify bottlenecks and simplified the annual/bi-annual performance testing process using new technologies. Our visually impaired accessibility engineers used assistive technologies to identify discrepancies in access. We tracked and executed more than 1,500 functional test cases with a test management tool that enabled graphical reports of defects found and resolved per story and sprint.
03—Result
The Client’s e-learners now benefit from streamlined services. Our accessibility testing resulted in an effective collaboration with the Client on how various content and functionality could be presented or adapted for optimal user experiences. As a result of our long-term partnership with the Client, their elearner participants have increased significantly.
