הגישה שלנו
We’re on a journey to make accessible and inclusive content and design part of everything we do at Qualitest.
We’ve built our site to be accessible with common assistive technologies and with the different ways people view online content. For example:
-
Skip links: “Skip to content” link is provided for keyboard and assistive technology users to directly jump to the main content of the page.
-
Images: All content images on this site are provided with meaningful and descriptive ALT attributes. Images that are purely decorative have empty ALT attributes, to prevent them from being identified by screen readers.
-
Screen Resolution: All content scales the same way, and our webpages are optimized to use the browser zoom functionality.
-
Interactive Controls: Most of the interactive elements are easily operable with the keyboard, except for a few interactive elements.
-
Multiple ways of site navigation: The website provides a search feature to quickly look for desired content. In addition, the sitemap is available to get an overview of the entire website.
-
Links: The majority of the links are provided with clear and descriptive link text for assistive technology users to make sense out of context.
-
Form elements: The majority of the form fields are provided with unique and meaningful labels except for the email edit field present on the page.
How accessible is our website?
This site has been developed to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1 Level AA, and we keep the site under constant review to improve both accessibility and usability. WCAG are internationally agreed upon guidelines on how to make digital content more accessible to people with disabilities.
What are we currently working on?
We consider accessibility and the user journey at the design stage and then review our plans with our accessibility experts to ensure we follow best practices to make our site as user-friendly as possible. Whenever we add new functionality, we test it thoroughly to ensure it can be accessed using assistive technologies.
We’re aware of some current accessibility challenges and we’re working to fix them. For instance:
