Qualitest’s Test Management Dashboard functions as an integral part of our extensive on-going engagements to build and deploy a variety of reports that provide visual data and analytic capabilities about the client’s product and testing status. These dashboards can be sent to the client on a periodic status of the client’s choosing.
QualiTest understands our clients’ needs to easily gain visibility to the most important software testing data. To cater that need, reports generated by the test team can be dissected into categories, such as function level vs. system level, and where the most bugs are being detected.
QualiTest provides six types of dashboards, including:
Each dashboard is configured for each client, allowing the client to view certain relevant data about their project, and not have to slog through irrelevant, extraneous information. The relevant data is information that the client has specified as important to them. This is beneficial to the client, as they can save time by receiving clear visibility to only the information that is important to them.
The following examples display excerpts from the Automation Dashboard. The goals of this particular dashboard are as follows:
1. Show the status of the entire automation effort vs. project goals beyond a specific release
2. Provide statistics within a certain release, such as test cases run/bugs found
The following examples display excerpts from the Functional Tests Dashboard. The goals of this particular dashboard are as follows:
1. Show the status of the testing cases by functional test levels, displaying the focus and status of each functional service.
2. Provide statistics over a certain amount of time about the test cases executed with a passable status vs. those that remain to be executed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are used as part of QualiTest’s Service-Level Agreement (SLA) to evaluate the success of a testing project. These KPIs can be based on any number of service goals, including fulfilling deliverables, identifying all high severity defects, cost per bug found, etc. The KPI dashboard displays data about your project’s KPIs, and how QualiTest is fulfilling your requirements. Having a metric for each KPI is invaluable, as it allows continuous improvement for your organization and reduces overhead.
