Our Client is a leading cloud data management company that offers a comprehensive platform for data protection, management, and compliance across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Founded in 2014, our Client has rapidly gained prominence due to its innovative approach to data management, leveraging automation and machine learning to simplify and optimize the handling of large volumes of data.
Their flagship product, a Cloud Data Management (CDM) platform, provides organizations with a single pane of glass to manage their data lifecycle, from backup and recovery to archival and disaster recovery. This platform integrates seamlessly with major cloud service providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, enabling businesses to harness the power of cloud scalability and flexibility while ensuring their data remains secure and compliant.
One of our Client’s key differentiators is its focus on delivering a unified, policy-driven approach to data management, which helps organizations reduce complexity and operational overhead. The company’s solutions are designed to be highly scalable and resilient, providing instant data access and recovery capabilities that are critical in today’s fast-paced digital landscape. Our Client needed a large and complex migration of their on-premises infrastructure to a SaaS cloud platform. This involved careful planning and execution to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining the integrity of the client’s data and operations.
A key focus of the migration was ensuring robust security and compliance. Stringent security measures were implemented along with compliance protocols to protect our Client’s sensitive information throughout the process.
As part of the project, a quality engineering roadmap was closely aligned with the business goals for our Client’s Cloud Data Management product. This roadmap guided quality assurance efforts, ensuring that all aspects of the migration met the highest standards of performance and reliability.
An in-depth analysis of our Client’s requirements was undertaken along with reviewing existing system architecture and migration goals. This comprehensive analysis allowed the approach taken to be tailored to meet our Client’s specific needs and objectives, ensuring a successful migration to the cloud.
To ensure maximum success, the entire quality engineering process was delegated and involved multiple vendors as part of the digital transformation program. Critical challenges were highlighted, highlighted for which timely reporting of high-priority blockers was undertaken, along with defect triaging to closure to ensure a quality, workable product was delivered on time.
