Our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Policy

Qualitest believes that a responsible approach towards our employees, clients, local communities, the environment and society is an essential part of our success.

Our Approach

Qualitest Group behaves as a responsible business and seeks to have a positive impact on society and the environment. By taking an active approach to consider Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) issues in our business operations, we aim to reduce risks and explore new opportunities to serve our customers interests and society at large.

Qualitest recognizes that the focus on the societal impact of businesses and performance on wider ESG factors has increased in recent years, with growing interest from a range of stakeholders including investors and clients. We believe that the foundation for effective ESG management is robust and transparent governance and integration of these considerations into the way that we do business. This includes alignment with our overall strategy and embedding relevant matters into our risk management framework and our product and service offering.

Our Environmental, Social & Governance Statement

Qualitest believes that its ESG Policy will provide long-term benefits to its employees, customers, suppliers and partners, which can and will be measured by its KPI’s. The aim of the ESG Policy will focus on the following key areas:

Environmental

Impact on the Environment

Assessing energy usage and carbon emissions (office, travel, increased use of VC) impact on climate change. Ensuring that business development activities are assessed in order to maximise potential recycling opportunities and minimise the risk of pollution and waste.

Social

Qualitest respect the values of its employees, providing a high level to its conditions of work, diversity & inclusion and equal opportunities, with continuous efforts to improving employee satisfaction (monitored through regular employee communications and surveys) and through the improvements in training, developing their intellectual capacity for their greater benefit and quality of life.

Employees are responsible for reporting any illegal activity taking place during the course of carrying out their duties for Qualitest.

Modern Slavery

Qualitest commits to identifying and tackling modern slavery issues in the supply chain and reporting the effectiveness through annual statements.

Governance

Qualitest has adopted the ISO 9001:2015 standard for its Quality Management System and the ISO 27001 framework for Information Security Management System. The QISMS includes a formal methodology of risk assessment, and the selection of appropriate controls to manage these identified risks, ESG is incorporated into these in-built business processes and policies.

Treating suppliers fairly and driving ESG codes of practice throughout the Supplier Management process through our Supplier Security & Assessment Process.
