Michelle’s motivation stems from a relentless pursuit of improvement, a love for exploring natural landscapes, and cherishing quality time with loved ones.
“Being the oldest sibling in a family undoubtedly shapes personality development,” reflects Michelle. “Being the oldest has helped me develop my leadership, mediation, and negotiation skills. It has also given me a strong sense of independence and responsibility.”
University or school’s impact on your job
“My school years were particularly rocky,” recollects Michelle. “High school was overwhelming at first; it was difficult to find acceptance within the existing tight-knit and closed-off groups. With time, though, I learned to find a small place of acceptance, but I always felt like a wallflower.”
Michelle shares that university required a lot of time and effort since she chose to work and study simultaneously. “While it was challenging, it led me to grow immensely as a person and become who I am now: a hard-working, knowledge-seeking, independent woman.”
The Qualitest journey
“Although I’ve been with Qualitest for almost two years, it still feels like the early stages of my journey because there’s so much to learn and experience.”
Michelle’s goal is to leave a lasting impact through her work, contributing to projects that make a positive difference in the world.
Achievements that make you proud
Michelle used to dream of becoming a writer and feels a deep sense of pride in her journey. However, in recent years, she has found immense joy in her achievements as an archer. From her participation in the First Pan-American Indoor Archery event to winning Regionals last month and Nationals just this past week, Michelle believes that there are no limits to what one can achieve with determination. With upcoming competitions on the horizon, her journey in archery continues to inspire her pursuit of excellence.
Life beyond testing
When asked about a leader who inspires her, Michelle says, “This may seem like a safe and common answer, but Nelson Mandela’s life and leadership inspire me because he showed how one person can make a huge difference. His dedication to justice, his ability to forgive, and his vision for a united future are lessons that I find incredibly powerful and motivating. Mandela’s legacy reminds me to strive for positive change in my own life and community. He became a global symbol of the fight for freedom and human rights. His story and leadership continue to inspire people everywhere to stand up for what’s right, work toward justice, and lead with kindness and determination.”
Michelle is an avid reader. Her favorite books are 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami and 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez.
When she’s not reading, Michelle enjoys archery, a sport that motivates her to commute three hours each morning for training. “The thrill of knocking an arrow, drawing the bowstring, and releasing it towards the target fills me with a sense of accomplishment and peace.”
Michelle views her dedication to archery as a reflection of her broader desire to challenge herself, grow, and achieve harmony in both body and mind. She values the sense of community within Argentina’s archery circles, where sharing tips and celebrating each other’s progress fosters a supportive and motivating environment.
