The client needed to continue to demonstrate compliance and reporting related to Regulatory requirements for insurance firms and groups.
A key aspect of any regulatory program is to be able to evidence the work done to the regulator, so one of our first recommendations was to implement an appropriate quality management tool. After a comprehensive assessment that formed part of the test strategy phase, Qualitest recommended the use of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to be deployed via “Software as a Service”. This all encompassing solution was the right fit for our client’s needs in terms of both logistics and cost models.
Our team managed the deployment process for ALM on behalf of our client, ensuring that the correct versions of Microsoft tools were in place to get the maximum value from the system. We designed and implemented a custom configuration of ALM which exactly met the client’s needs for compliance. Throughout the engagement, we administered ALM for our client, ensuring that it was used as designed and that it contained the auditable evidence needed to demonstrate compliance to the regulator.
